"Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured."
-B.K.S. Iyengar
We live hectic, busy and sometimes crazy lives. When life becomes too stressful, it manifests in our bodies and our minds. Depression, anxiety and chronic disease are at an all time high. Yet many of these ailments could be prevented through diet, exercise and YOGA.
This website is dedicated to encouraging you to take time out of your busy day to recharge. Now, more than ever, we need to find ways to "reboot." Yoga enables us to come back to center, to get grounded and to find clarity amongst our hectic lives in our mind, body, and soul.
I am not a sage, I am not liberated, and I am not out in the forest meditating on a tree stump living in isolation! Just like everyone else, I am always striving to find peace and harmony in this crazy world. What I can say is yoga has taught me how to become steady and grounded amongst the chaos. As a yoga teacher, I hope to provide the appropriate tools to help others find balance in their mind and body.
What I love most about yoga is the "ripple effect" it creates beyond the mat. When you feel good, happy, and positive emotions, everyone you come in contact with experiences that good energy. Then those individuals pass the good vibes along, too. It's why I love to teach-helping to create ripples. Making waves.
